How to Homeschool Through Transitions
e.g. new baby, aging grandparents,
elementary to middle, etc.

Tuesday, May 5th, 2015
Hope Lutheran Church from 7pm-9pm

We'll be talking about homeschooling through transitions at May's meeting. So, don't get discouraged during these times. Instead, come and get some ideas on how to tackle homeschooling through them. As always, we'll have plenty of fellowship time, raffles, and more. See you there!

Time to Buy a Yearbook!

Starting in September, there will be a change in procedure at NCDNPE. This is not a change in the law, but rather a procedure change from the past 20 years (or so).

It is up to homeschools to notify NCDNPE when they open and close their schools (as in the past). Now, however, you will no longer be receiving emails (or postcards) asking if your homeschool is still open. We are RESPONSIBLE for notifying the state of our status.

To open or close a homeschool, you must go to the NCDNPE website. You can also find your school ID and confirm information there. But this is no longer necessary annually.

In September they will put up a piece on their website for each family to update. If they have accurate emails, they may contact with the information.
