Athletics can provide physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth and it is our desire that Lighthouse athletics will facilitate growth in each of these areas through our knowledgeable coaches, commissioners, and volunteers.

Coaches
  • Coach Kristy: has been with Lighthouse for a few years now. She has coached school teams as well as club teams for many years. Her daughter played volleyball for her, and comes back to help our athletes at various clinics. Kristy’s knowledge and love of the game shines though as she has lead our teams to top finishes in various tournaments.
  • Coach Lenore: has been coaching for many years. She coaches club as well as for us. Her daughters played for Lighthouse, back in 2008. They loved their experience, and Lenore wants to keep that excitement going for the athletes coming up. Lenore’s expertise has given our athletes a good foundation.
  • Coach Heather: has been a coach for over 20 years, coaching multiple sports, with volleyball being one of her favorites. Her enthusiasm is contagious and the athletes love when she is around.

Golf

2025 Season

We are looking to partner with First Tee to have practice sessions in the fall.  Match play will be in the spring.

Golf offers homeschool students a unique chance to compete and connect with others. These young golfers often practice at local courses or with community programs, working on their swings, putting, and overall technique. At golf tournaments, they enjoy the challenge of the sport and the friendly competition, which helps them gain experience and confidence.
